全国大学生協連ツアー（１１人）「子どもの家」へ
曇り時々雨。
朝、ボランティア貯金完了報告書付属資料の整理。
午前9時、舟山さん（1996年から5年間ベトナム事務所員）
家族がベトナム事務所を訪問。フエ出身の奥さんと二人の
お子さんに恵まれ、幸せな家庭生活を送っていることが分かる。
舟山さんがベトナム事務所にいた時期は、ＪＡＳＳベトナム事務所
が一番大変な時であった。フエの様々な政治的な軋轢
に翻弄され、「子どもの家」運営も思うようにすすまず、苦闘して
いた。そんな時、私たちの活動を100キロの体力を
生かして支えてくれたのが舟山さんだった。舟山さんの
応援がなけれなどうなっていたか？などと時々考える
ことがある。5年間フエにいて1度しか帰国しなかたのも
強い意志の現れである。舟山さんのＪＡＳＳや「子どもの家」への
大きな貢献に心から感謝したい。と書きながらフエ美人の奥さんと
結婚できたことで、「子どもの家」支援の苦労も帳消しだ、
などと勝手に解釈している。
その足で「子どもの家」へ。「子どもの家」では全国大学生協
連合会スタディーツアーが来ていた。ラームさん・松下さん
が諸施設を案内していた。
午前10時。「子どもの家」2階でスタディーツアーの皆さんに
ストリートチルドレン・ＮＧＯ・貧困・戦争問題などを1時間ほど
話す。
二つの大学受験に合格したメンさんと今後の進むべき道に
ついて話し合う。
午後12時。トンチンカンホテルへ帰る。トンチンカンホテル
１階では日本料理店研修生の3人とホン店長が
「だし汁」「肉じゃが」の作り方を勉強していた。
中村日本語教師が教える。
午後、ボランティア貯金完了報告書関連資料・写真等の整理。
9月フエ訪問者の日程調整。
午後4時半、ラームさんと打ち合わせ。
午後5時、ミンさんと一緒に「メガネ屋」へ。
壊れたメガネの修理を頼むが修理不能とのこと。
「修理できない」と言う店主の手には新しいお勧めのめがね
あった。三軒のメガネ屋さんに行ったが、どこも
新品を売りたいという魂胆ミエミエ。結局、メガネ直らなかった。
日本料理店工事は着々と進む。
今日の工事で1階の部屋の窓と入口ドアが取り払われる。
誰でもトンチンカンホテル（東京平和産業）1階に出入りできる
ようになった。夜、物騒なので早速警備員のリー君と
料理研修生のターオ君が泊り込みで「見張り」をすることに
なった。
1週間ほど前から洗濯機が故障。洗濯物が溜まってしまった。
一昨日ラームさんと新しい洗濯機を買いに行ったが、
フエには、乾燥機つき洗濯機はなかった。ダナンのお店に
注文。先週、手洗いで洗濯はしたものの曇りや雨が
多く、生乾き。洗濯機よ早く来い。
