地球の歩き方ツアーグエンフエ高校へ
終日晴天。３５度。
１日中蒸し暑い。何もしなくても相当体力を消耗する。
午前中、いくつかの重要問題についてメール送信。
ベトナム事務所へ徒歩。バオミン・ベトナム事務所と
いくつかの問題を話し合う。
その後、ドンバ市場近くの「フエの秋葉原」で
圧力鍋を買う。納豆作りのため。
昼食は「冷麦」（ベトナム製小麦細うどん）。
１時間ほど昼寝。
フエに戻って１５日目。かなり体力が消耗。
足にお灸を据える。
午後１時１５分。バオミンホテルへ。地球の歩き方ツアーと
ともにグエンフエ高校との交流。
グエンフエ高校は夏休み。１０数人の生徒と副校長先生
の歓迎を受ける。グエンフエ高校生が「世界は一つ」という
歌を披露。日本側は「大きな古時計」を手話を入れて歌う。
グエンフエ高校生にも手話を教える。
しばらく交流を進めたあと、カップルを作りシクロに乗り
フエ名物の「バインベオ」（米のお菓子）を食べに行く。
午後４時過ぎ、全員でドンバ市場へ買い物。
私は日本料理店で使う食器類の下見。適当なものが
いくつかあった。
午後５時過ぎ、グエンフエ高校へ戻り全員で記念写真
日本から電話。ＪＡＳＳツアー責任者の一人加藤氏から
ＪＡＳＳツアーについて。
ハノイを旅行中の日本人Ｎ先生から電話。私のベトナム語の先生。
体調を崩し、ハノイの病院へ入院とのこと。
フエに来られなくなったとの話。はやく病状が回復することを
祈る。旅行中の病気は一番つらいものである。
ベトナム研究者でベトナムには慣れきっているＮ先生でも
こうして入院する程の病気になることを肝に銘じておく
必要がある。一部の無知な若者のような無軌道な
ベトナム旅行は本当に危険そのものである。
知れば知るほど、慎重さが必要。無知と半可通ほど
怖いものはない。
