早稲田大学社会科学部「国際協力」授業
終日曇り。
１１通のメール受信。７通送信。
先日行った人間ドック、脳ドックの結果が届いた。
高脂血症・高尿酸症・肝臓肥大・胃の粘膜不整像で
胃カメラ検査が必要とのこと。
高尿酸症とは「通風」のこと。飲酒も大きな
原因。「お酒をやめろ」は死ぬと同義語。
６０年近く使った臓器はどうしても「ガタ」が来るもの。
近日中に胃カメラを飲むことにする。
高尿酸症対策は「保留」。
午後１時半、自宅を出て早稲田大学社会科学部の授業。
午後３時過ぎから担当の内田先生と１時間ほど懇談。
１９７０年代、シャプラニールの事務局長として
バングラディシュで活動したとのこと。
午後４時２０分から国際協力論の授業。２５０人の学生。
１時間ちょっとストリートチルドレン・ボランティア・
ＮＧＯ・海外支援・現地の自立などを話す。
その後、学生からの質問に答える。午後５時５０分授業終了。

授業終了後、一人の学生がやってくる。
２４年前に滝野川第七小学校で教えた生徒だった。
現在３４歳。就職をした後で勉学の意欲に燃え
「低賃金労働者の実態」の研究のため早稲田大に
入学したとのこと。当時私は３３歳。丁度彼と同じ年頃。
その頃私は落語や講談、漫才などに凝っていた。
学校に「落語クラブ」（お話しクラブ）を作り、子どもたちに
落語を教えていた。Ｉ君は今でも私が教えた「寿限無」を
いえるそうだ。Ｉ君は「落語クラブ」の生徒。
人間の縁とは不思議なものである。
午後６時に授業を終え、帰宅。
テレビでニュースを見る。郵政民営化法案の衆議院採決は
５票差で可決されたとのこと。自民党の「反対派」もかなり
追いあげたようだ。小泉首相も末期症状を呈している。
３７人の反対と１４人の欠席など、党内の恫喝と締め付けが
効かなくなって来ている。
公明党の支援・協力がなければ何も出来ない首相である。
長期的には自民党の解体崩壊過程が深化していると言える。
人間ドックの結果を見ながらビールと吟醸酒を飲む。
吟醸酒「初亀」は静岡の巣山先生から頂いた静岡の酒。
香り良し、品のある味。巣山先生に感謝。
私の大好きな小樽の「ソフト鮭とば」と自家製の糠漬け
（カブときゅうり）、美味しく出来た手作り納豆をおつまみに飲む。
美味しい吟醸酒を飲みながら人生の喜びをかみしめる。
至福の時。
