榊原記念クリニックへ通院
午前８時に自宅を出て榊原記念クリニックへ。
榊原記念クリニックは新宿の都庁前の「NSビル」の４階にある。
都営地下鉄で西台から春日へ。春日から大江戸線で都庁前。
都庁前を歩いた。数十人のホームレスの人たちが横になったり
寝ていたりしていた。ひとあたり都庁前を歩く。ホームレスの人たちを
見ていると多くの人たちは私と同年齢かそれ以上である。
どうみても人生をはかなんで「世捨て人」になったようには思えない。
仕事がない、リストラにあった人たちのように見えた。
都庁前のホームレスの人々を見ていると「ひと事には思えない」。
「いつか自分もこうなるのか？」との思いが重く私の心の深層を覆った。
今の私の人生と生活は本質的にはホームレスと紙一重である。
心電図、診療、投薬。病院に３時間ほど滞在。
前回採血の結果を知らされる。コレステロールが基準値の３倍、
善玉コレステロールが基準値より低いとのこと。
その足でかっぱ橋問屋街へ行き、必需品のいくつかを買う。
今日は雨。風もありとても寒かった。
