アジア・太平洋戦争開戦６３年目
午前中、ベトナム事務所へ。各種相談・打ち合わせ。
午後、２１通のメール受信。１０通のメール送信。
ＪＡＳＳ第１１回総会議案書作成作業。各種資料作り・調査。
ベトナム事務所へ。カバンのジッパーが壊れる。
ドンバ市場でジッパーを買い、刺繍みやげ物店のタンさんたちに
縫い付けてもらう依頼する。ドンバ市場から１時間ほど
ウオーキング。
今日１２月８日は「アジア太平洋戦争開戦６３周年」である。
１９４１年、ハワイの真珠湾とアジアへの侵略を開始した日である。
日本全体が一歩一歩と軍国主義化が進行している中で
日本の主要新聞が「１２月８日」をどう報道しているのか、
興味のあるところである。各紙の社説を比べてみた。
どのマスコミもこの問題では極端に「及び腰」である。
「時代の流れに従順な日本のマスコミのだらしない実態」を
物語っている。
●朝日新聞は「街宣車――わがもの顔は許せぬ」がトップの社説。
社説の後段で「１２月８日――さて、今日は何の日？」と題して
若者にクラスで６３年前に何が起こったかを話し合ってみてはと
呼びかけている。
●毎日新聞は一切触れず。社説は「ＮＨＫ不祥事 受信契約の
義務規定を見直せ」
●読売新聞も１２月８日には一切触れず。
社説は「学力国際比較］「なぜ『読解力』は低下したのか」
社説「法駐車対策 地域に信頼される民間委託に」
夜のＮＨＫニュースで横田めぐみさんの遺骨と称する骨が
ＤＮＡ鑑定の結果、本人のものではないことが判明。
死亡日時が変わり、ニセモノの骨を渡されるなど、
横田めぐみさんの家族は、何度も北朝鮮に振り回されている。
私が横田めぐみさんのご両親の立場になったらどんな気持ち
だろうと思うと胸が締め付けられる思いである。
小泉首相の記者会見をテレビで見た。この人は、この場に
至っても未だに「ひとごと」のような発言を繰り返している。
人間の生きた心を持たない悲しい首相をもった国民の一人と
してやり場のない怒りを感じる。
はるか遠くの「イラクの人々」のため「人道支援」と称して
自衛隊を派兵し、明日、その延長をしようとしている。
遠くのイラクの人の人道支援を言う前に「自国の国民が
拉致され、自分自身が交渉して解決する」と約束した
問題である。その約束が破られ、一人の人間の
生死という重大な問題が、さいころをころがすように
右、左と振りまわされている時に、ひとごとのような
発言を繰り返す首相。政治的な立場を別として、
人間としてどこか欠けているものがあるように思われて
ならない。
人の苦しみを自分の苦しみとして考えることが出来ない
悲しい首相である・・・・・・・・。
