水害被災者支援続報ＮＯ６ 「子どもの家」スタッフ水害被災者へ救援金贈呈
午前９時、「子どもの家」で水害に被災したスタッフに対して
水害被災救援金を贈呈した。
水位１メートル以上の浸水があったスタッフには５０万ドン、
１メートル未満は３０万ドン。（実際には２０センチ、５０センチ）
床浸水で家具が壊れたり、家の中の掃除、消毒などの経費
がかかっているための救援金である。
「子どもの家」のベトナム人スタッフが自分の家庭の
ことは安心して、「子どもの家」の子どもたちのお世話が出来る
ような環境作りをすることも私たちの仕事だと思っている。
●自宅が１ｍ以上浸水し家具などに被害が出た寮母のニエムさんへ
昨日フエを訪問した宇都宮縫製工業協同組合理事長の
佐藤氏より「子どもの家」創立１０周年記念をお祝いして
スタッフの皆さんに一人１０万ドンのお祝い金を寄贈して
頂いた。今日、スタッフ全員に佐藤氏よりの１０周年記念
祝い金を手渡す。

先日、トゥアティエンフエ省（人口１００万人）主催の
児童・生徒「作文コンクール」が行われた。
「子どもの家」の３人の子どもたちが特選、入選の表彰を
もらった。
午前中高校に行っていて「子どもの家」を不在中の
ＰＨＵＯＮＧさん（高２）は作文コンクール第２位の特選を受賞。
妹のＮＨＩさんは入選、また８月に中学を卒業したＮＩさんも
入選。トゥアティエンフエ省から記念品をもらった。
特選のＰＨＵＯＮＧさんは自作の小説。テーマは
『ストリートチルドレン物語』。
また、ＮＨＩさんとＮＩさんは「自分の苦しい生活経験の中で
子どもの家に入り、頑張っている」という体験記である。
●フエ省児童作文コンテスト入選のＮＨＩさんとＮＩさん
午前１０時過ぎ、京滋ＹＯＵの会の三津川さんの姉弟と
友人がベトナム事務所を訪問。しばらく懇談をする。
午後４時、フエ中央病院に入院中のおばあさんに車椅子を
贈呈。
午後５時からフエ市人民委員会役員と懇親。帰宅午後７時半
今週は月曜日から今日まで「１１月２６日のフエ大洪水」被災者
の緊急救援活動を行った。家族が水死した家庭を三軒訪問したが
どの家庭も突然の出来事で家族は「呆然自失」状態だった。
色々と質問をしても家族はあまり答えることも出来ず、
村長さんや親戚の方、地元の祖国戦線の幹部などが
対応してくれた。
こうした緊急災害の救援活動は、物資やお金の支援が必要
であることはもちろんだが、突然の家族の死亡で、
今後の生活や生き方に展望を見失ったり、「孤独」を感じて
いる方々に対する精神的な支援も必要であることを痛感した。
家族を突然失った夫・妻・子どもたちに対して、私たちも同じよう
に悲しみ苦しんでいるという回りの人間の気持ちを伝えること、
悲しみを共有するという支援もあることを改めて感じた。
ただ支援金や救援物資を村役場や国際赤十字などに送る
のも支援ではあるが、出来ることなら直接家族・遺族にお会いし、
手を握って励ますことも目には見えないが大きな救援活動だと
実感した一週間であった。日本で２ヶ月の講演会や
ソン君を連れての各地でのイベントを終えてフエへ
戻ったばかりの「大水害」に私自身も驚いている所である。
同時に水害現場にいて、被災した方々がいれば、私の
出来るところで何か応援をしたいものである。
疲労困憊の一週間でもあった。
