柏市立柏高校授業
午後１時２５分から午後３時１５分までの２時間、千葉県柏市立柏高校で授業。
柏高校のボランティア講座は３０人の生徒が受講。最初に柏高校２年生の工藤さんが２０分、８月のＪＡＳＳ主催「ボランティア体験ツアー」に参加した経験を話す。ＪＡＳＳ主催ボランティア体験ツアーの引率者だった加藤さん、山田さんが撮影したビデオを上映しながら、「子どもの家」での体験、山岳少数民族訪問の体験などを感想を含めて発表する。工藤さんの発表は的を得たもので中々説得力があった。
続いて私が①何故ベトナムへ行ったのか ②ベトナムで行っているボランティアのめざすものは？
③支援とは？ ④１１年間ベトナムに滞在して感じたこと などを話す。
柏市立柏高校にはＪＡＳＳ副代表の柴田先生がいる。この講座も柴田先生が主宰している。
午後３時１５分に授業は終了。柏高校のある先生に東武野田線「江戸川台駅」まで車で送って頂く。
自宅着、午後６時。
実際に「子どもの家」を訪問した柏高校２年生の工藤さんの発表は、事実に基づき、体験と感想に裏付けられたものであった。今の児童・生徒には「体験」がいかに大事かが実践的に証明されたような気がする。知識だけを機械的に訓練しても「生きた人間」の感情と知性は生まれない。
