京都国際センターで講演会
午前７時半に家を出て、東京駅へ。東京駅で原田虎太郎君と合流。午前９時０３分発の「のぞみ１０９」で京都へ。午前１１時２３分京都駅着。駅には「京滋ＹＯＵの会」の藤井事務局長が出迎えに。
昼食を摂り、午後１時半から京都駅にある「京都国際センター」で「東南アジア講座」。
左（国際協力ステーション２００４に参加した京滋ＹＯＵの会の皆さん）
中（子供の家：みやげ物店の刺繍販売）
右（特注の革靴を作る）
午後１時半から「京都府国際センター」の「東南アジア講座」
左（小山講演）
中（ソロプチミスト京都ー西山へ感謝状）
右（１２０人の講演会参加者）
講演会後、午後４時半から参加者と懇談会。
午後６時過ぎ、京滋ＹＯＵの会会員との懇親会。

京都駅では「京都府国際センター」などが主催して「国際協力ステーション２００４」という海外ボランティアフェアーが行われていた。我が「京滋ＹＯＵの会」も参加。会員の女性がアオザイ姿で「子どもの家」での支援活動を紹介。「子どもの家」の写真、ベトナム事務所付属みやげ物店で作った刺繍などを販売していた。
午後１時過ぎに京都駅内にある京都府国際センターへ。センターには京滋ＹＯＵの会会員の妹さんで「靴の特注」をする方が待っていてくれた。私の足の形をとり、オーダーメードの革靴を手作りで作ってくれるとのこと。２０分程、サイズなどを測る。
出来上がりは、１１月の京都訪問時。
午後１時半から京都府国際センター会議室での講演会。主催は６つの東南アジア関連のＮＧＯ団体。
京都府国際センターの挨拶。４本のＶＴＲを紹介しながら１時間２０分程の講演を行う。会場は１２０名の方々で満杯。会場使用の最終時刻が３時半。
午後３時に講演会を終わり、表彰式と支援金贈呈式を行う。
フエ市長より「国際ソロプチミスト京都ー西山」への感謝状の贈呈を行う。ソロプチミスト京都ー西山は「子どもの家」Ｃ棟１階を寄贈、その後３人の子どもたちへの奨学金支給を続けてくれている。
続いて『京都国際センター：虹の輪募金」（１１万９千円）を頂く。
株式会社ＶＯＷインタナショナルーコオーポレーションの今本顕依子氏より寄金（３５万円）を頂く。
子どもたちのために友好に使わせて頂きたい。
京都国際サンター、今本氏には改めて感謝の気持ちを表したい。
講演会では質問等の時間がとれず、京都駅内の喫茶店で参加者との懇談会を行う。１５人ほど参加。今日は京都府立中学校教員採用試験日であった。
理科の採用試験を受けた大学院生が、京都駅の「国際協力ステーション」でＪＡＳＳ京滋ＹＯＵの会の展示を見て、講演会に参加。その後の懇談会にも参加してくれた。
午後６時過ぎに京滋ＹＯＵの会会員との懇親会。会場は京都駅付近の料亭。秀明大学の石崎光夫先生をはじめ、中村巧代表、藤井事務局長など２０数名。
京滋ＹＯＵの会は８月に「子どもの家」への交流ツアーを行う。ベトナムでの交流で疲労する「春駒踊り」を見せてくれた。午後９時半まで。
その後、藤井事務局長と税田さんと駅前のレストランで懇談。午後１１時近くにホテルへ戻る。
中村代表、藤井事務局長を中心に京滋ＹＯＵの会の周到な準備で、今日１日の全ての会合は成功した。
京滋ＹＯＵの会を通して私たちの活動を理解する大きな輪が更に広がっていることを実感した。
疲れたが、爽やかな疲労であった。京滋ＹＯＵの会の皆さんに深謝。
