ピースボート「子どもの家」を訪問
午前中晴天。入浴。読書（磁力と重力の発見）
午後ベトナム事務所でピースボートを待つ。
午後２時、ピースボート４３人がベトナム事務所へ。事務所で挨拶。ピースボートの皆さんはベトナム事務所付属刺繍みやげ物店で刺繍を買う。その足で大型バスにのり「子どもの家」。

歓迎の歌や踊りの後、ピースボート参加者よりノートなどの支援物資が贈られた。

右（子どもたちと一緒に夕食を摂る）
午後２時半、ベトナム事務所から「子どもの家」へ。大型バスの中で現在「子どもの家」が目指していること（自立問題）を話す。
「子どもの家」では子どもたちが農民伝統踊りを披露する。フエ省音楽専門学校へ通っているドゥオック君が歌とオルガン演奏。ピースボート参加者から支援物資の贈呈を受ける。ノート（４１４冊）、ペン（６００本）、鉛筆（３７０本）、色鉛筆（４７５本）、クレヨン（４９４本）、絵の具（２セット）、折り紙（１５袋）、鍵盤ハーモニカ（５台）、ハーモニカ（１台）、リコーダー（２１本）、トライアングル（４台）、タンバリン（１台）、カスタネット（１２台）、車椅子（１４台）。
その後、福田副代表、西山日本語教師が「子どもの家」の諸施設を案内する。
視察参観後、午後５時過ぎまで、縄跳び、サッカー、絵の具、折り紙などをして交流する。
午後５時過ぎ、４３人の参加者、「子どもの家」の子どもたちななど１００数十人で夕食を摂る。揚げ魚の煮物、肉野菜の煮物、空芯菜のスープ。
食事をしながら子どもたちと参加者との交流が進む。
午後６時過ぎ、「子どもの家」を発進しホテルへ。
毎回のことであるが、ピースボート参加者の皆さんの熱心な態度に感心する。これから７月まで世界一周するという。安全な航海を祈る。
