読売新聞 障害児支援の視察
朝雨。昼から晴天。
今日は昨夜フエに到着した読売新聞社の障害児支援の現状視察があった。

午前７時半、センチューリーホテルを出て、
フエ省立盲学校で行われているＪＡＳＳ主催
（ボランティア貯金支援）の定期健康診断の
実際を視察した。
５０数名の盲の子どもたちの年４回の
健康診断を既に７年間も続けている。
続いて「フエ平和村」を視察。ここは
１９９４年から私たちが支援をしている
フエ省立の障害児リハビリセンター
である。所長よりＪＩＣＡ支援４年間
のリハビリの実際を視察。
午前１１時、「子どもの家」での
定期健康診断の実際を視察。
「子どもの家」で子どもたちと一緒に
昼食を摂る。
午後２時からフエ市立病院で行われている
「フエ市障害児父母の会」の総会に出席。
ＪＩＣＡ支援を終了した後、障害児の
父母が集まり「悩み」を語り、リハビリ
の研修などをする場として２００２年９月に
創設。５０数人の父母と障害児が参加。
「障害児の保育園を作って欲しい」など
様々な意見が出た。
その後、国際ソロプチミスト東京ー東
創設の「障害児医療センター」副所長の
ＨＩＥＮ先生と懇談。ＪＩＣＡ４年間の
総合的な活動と成果などを聞く。
午後３時半、ＪＩＣＡ支援を実際に
行ったフエ市内の生活困難地区のひとつ
「フーハウ地区」診療所を訪問し、
ＪＡＳＳ－ＪＩＣＡ障害児支援の
ウーハウ地区での実際を聞く。
午後４時半、ベトナム事務所を
訪問。ベトナム事務所で、ＪＡＳＳ
としての障害児支援の歴史と実際、
成果、そして障害児支援を行っている
思いなどを話し合う。
午後６時半から読売新聞高山氏
とバオミン・ベトナム事務所長と
私で「大衆食堂」へ行き夕食懇談。
