バーベキュー大会：大学生協スタディーツアー
晴天。猛暑。蒸し暑い。
東京平和産業１階の日本料理店は少しずつ完成に
近づいてきている。今日は玄関がつけられた。
午前７時半、トンチンカンホテルを出発。大学生協スタディーツアー
６人の出迎え。午前８時２０分、フエ空港に到着。
京都、福島、北海道など全国から参加。
ホテルにチェックイン後、「子どもの家」へ。
サンさんの案内で「子どもの家」の諸施設を参観。
午前１０時から１時間ほど、「子どもの家」の歴史、ベトナム戦争、
ボランティア、支援などについて話す。
午前１１時半、大学生協ツアー皆さん、サンさんと昼食。
３０分ほど昼寝。久しぶりに昼寝。
その後、この間に溜まった受信メールを読み返信。
時間がなく急いでメールを読み返信。
９月３日開店する日本料理店のメニュー、内装等を
考える。中村先生が原案を作ってくれる。
午後３時、ベトナム事務所１階の刺繍みやげ物店へ。
刺繍の先生に日本料理店に掲げる「のれん」を依頼する。
午後４時過ぎ、「子どもの家」へ。バーベキュー大会。
１０年近いバーベキュー大会は、内田さん、柳沢さん、
高橋さん、景山さんの寄贈によるものである。
いつものことではあるが深く感謝。
開会のことばは私が。「例年行われるバーベキュー大会
は内田さん、柳沢さん、高橋さん、景山さんからの寄贈によるもの。
感謝の気持ちを持ち、大いに楽しんで欲しい」と挨拶。
バーベキュー大会には、「子どもの家」の子どもたち６３人、
スタッフ１３人、在宅支援２０人、ＪＡＳＳツアー１４人、
大学生協ツアー６人、ベトナム事務所員など１３０人程が参加。
子どもたちは年に一度のバーベキュー大会を堪能した。
子どもたちとスタッフの皆さんは、年に一度のバーベキュー大会
を本当に楽しみにしていた。牛肉と豚肉を３０キロ～４０キロ。
ソフトドリンクを２００本。２時間で全て平らげたエネルギーには
感心した。
バーベキュー大会で「子どもの家」もそろそろ新学年の
準備に入る。３ヶ月の夏休みの良い思い出となった。
