内田征子さんフエ訪問
晴天→曇り→時々雨。天候不順。
頭痛がひどい。
午前７時半、ラームさんと一緒にフエ空港へ。
今日から８月２日まで日本事務所の内田さんが
フエを訪問する。今回の訪問の目的は、７月３１日
「子どもの家」の子どもたちを海に連れていくこと。
３０分遅れでホーチミン市からの飛行機が到着。
その足でフエ市内の「バオミン・ホテル」へ。
内田さんは１２月末に行われる「子どもの家」のクリスマス会
の飾りやベトナム事務所員・「子どもの家」の子どもたちなど
へのお土産を持って来てくれた。
１１時半、ベトナム事務所の日本人スタッフも誘って
大衆食堂「ＣＯ ＤＯ」（古都）で昼食。
アヒルの玉子焼き・モヤシ炒め・とりから揚げ・
豚肉とえびの塩辛・・・・。
お昼から煮ていた納豆用の大豆を焦がしてしまい、
納豆作りは失敗。再度、水に浸す所からはじめる。
午後３時、ベトナム事務所で当面の仕事を整理する。
１１通のメール受信。５通返信。
１０月帰国時の講演会などの打ち合わせなど・・。
午後５時、ベトナム事務所からドンバ市場までウオーキング。
トンチンカンまで４０分。
夕食は内田さんを交えてトンチンカンホテルで６人。
江戸風俗研究家の杉浦日向子（ひなこ）さんが亡くなった。
最近の出来事では最大のショック。４６歳だそうだ。下咽頭ガン。
若すぎる。もともとは漫画家だったが、１９９３年に「隠居宣言」し
漫画家をやめ、文筆に。
１９９５年から昨年までの９年間、ＮＨＫ「お江戸でござる」で
江戸文化の素晴らしさを解説してくれていた。
私はフエに来てやっとＮＨＫ衛星放送を入れて以来のフアン
だった。江戸についての博識をひけらかさず、飽くまでも
控え目だった。今年になり「道中でござる」に番組が変わり
出演しなくなった。なにか事情があったのかなと思って
いたが１年８ヶ月前からガンと闘っていたとのこと。
今回５０日ほど日本へ帰ったが、どのチャンネルでも
「ずうずうしく」「口汚い」女性のオンパレード。
杉浦さんのような女性はテレビでついぞ見なくなった。
ＮＨＫの女性アナ（民放は問題外）もオチャラケ基調と
なり、うるさく、見苦しい。杉浦さんのような知性を
気品で包み隠した女性は絶滅マンモスと化したのか？
それともシーラカンスのように海底深く潜んでいるのか？
杉浦日向子さんの早世を心から悼む。
