東京都議会議員選挙
午前７時半、近くの小学校の投票所へ。都議会議員選挙。
午前中、１７通のメール送信。
昨夜から水に漬けておいた大豆を使い「納豆」の仕込み。
前回の反省を踏まえ、粉納豆菌を３倍入れる。
大豆煮の時間を前回の３倍かけ一層柔らかくなるように
煮る。２４時間２８度に保つと納豆が出来上がる。
明日午前中に出来上がりる。その後、１２時間冷蔵庫で
熟成。
ぬか床に新しいぬか、ニンニク、唐辛子、煮干、こぶなど
を入れ、ぬか床を整備する。
午後、「教育評論」の連載原稿（１６００字）を書く。
夕方、高島平団地内の商店街へ買い物。
なす１０個で９０円。葉付き枝豆８８円。
終日読書。
「出ない杭は腐る」（清水修二著：（株）ミュゼ）

読んでいるうちに何故か引き込まれ一気に読んでしまった。
著者は福島大学経済学部教授。
清水氏のエッセー集であるが、一読の価値は十分ある。
話題が「イギリス滞在記」から映画論（ピンク映画も含む）、
短編小説、更には日本共産党への手紙まで多岐に
わたっている。
著者の教養と人間的なエネルギーの奥深さを感じさせる。
著者は１９４８年生まれ。私より１年年下であるが、ほぼ
同時代を生きてきた訳である。
この本を読んで一番感じたのは著者の民主主義的な感覚で
ある。一つの出来事を多面的な視点で見ることの出来る
教養と人間性に感服する。
えてして人間は「教条的」になるものである。
このエッセー集を読むと清水修二という人間が、どのように
生きてきたのか、清水修二氏の生きてきた『軌跡』が
想像できる。
学生時代何をし、大学の教師になってどんなことがあったを
勝手に想像してしまう。
このエッセー集は読後に清水修二論を書きたくなるような
衝動を書きたてるに十分な刺激がある。
続編が読みたくなるような知的刺激を受けるエッセー集である。
巨人ー広島戦をテレビで見る。
画面左下に「長島茂雄さん観戦」と常時テロップが出ていた。
リハビリで野球観戦が出来るようになったことについては
「大変でしたね」と声をかけたい。しかし、
もう長島・長島の時代じゃないでしょ？と言いたい。
巨人・長島中心のプロ野球の時代は終わった。
今年から始まった「交流戦」でパリーグの選手の力量と
魅力をテレビで知ってしまった。
「マスコミに作られた巨人」しかテレビで見られなかった
「巨人大鵬玉子焼き」時代を経過し、いまや巨人の時代
は終わった、というか日本のプロ野球の時代が終わったと
言っても過言でない状況である。
「長島茂雄さん観戦」でプロ野球にフアンが戻ってくると
甘く考えているテレビ局や読売グループには今日の
巨人ー広島戦の視聴率が回答を与えるであろう。
※１３．５％（ビデオリサーチ調べ、関東地区）。
開幕から６月末までの巨人戦ナイター視聴率の
平均１２．０％を１、５％上回っただけ。大きな変化は
なかった。
４－１で広島が勝った。
都議会議員選挙開票。自民党が３議席減らし第１党。
自民、公明、民主の改憲勢力が８４％となる。
自民４８、民主３５、公明２３、共産１３、ネット３・・・。
ウーン。次の言葉が出てこない。
投票率４３％では、都民を代表することにはならない。
総選挙・２００７年の参議院選挙を象徴する
結果となるのであろうか？
