久々の休日・花祭（潅仏会）
終日晴天。
久しぶりの休日。昨夜は痛飲し、今日は午前中寝ていた。
午後、メールの返事、以前のベトナム事務所員だった人
から来た手紙の返事を書く。
ドンバ市場へ。真っ赤な火炎樹の花が咲き始めた。
6月が最盛期。5月は黄色の火炎樹が最盛期。
フエの町はお釈迦様の誕生日である旧暦4月8日のお祝い
（花祭・かんぶつえ）が大々的に行われていた。
特にチュオンティエン橋（通称：チャンティエイン橋）の前に
ある大きな石塔の前には、たくさんの仏教信者などが
集まりお経を上げていた。
この石塔は、1963年に当時の「南ベトナム大統領」であった
ゴ・ディン・ジェムがフエの仏教徒や学生を大量に殺した場所
で、慰霊碑が立ててある。
ゴ・ディン・ジェム大統領の兄がカトリックの司教だった。
ゴ大統領は兄をバチカンの枢機卿にする工作をしていた。
『ベトナム国民の７０％がカトリックです』との証明を
するため、バチカンから調査団を招請した。調査団は
お釈迦様の誕生日前後にベトナムへ来ることになった。
お釈迦様の誕生日には、各お寺、家庭で旗を飾り、
盛大なお祭りをする。
バチカン調査団が来た時に盛大な仏教のお祝いを
国中でされては困るので、1963年は、特別の
布令を出して、お釈迦様の誕生日のお祝いをしては
いけないとの命令を発した。
これに反撥した多くの仏教徒やフエ大学の学生などが
大きな反対運動を展開した。ゴ大統領は、この運動を
弾圧し、多数の死者がでたのである。特にモーリンホテル
とチュオンティエン橋の袂（たもと）で多くの死者が出た。
ベトナム事務所近くのお寺でもお祝いの飾りをしていた。
午後6時・ＮＨＫＴＶ「道中でござる」を見ながら軽く一杯。
フダビール2本。その後、頂いた島根の純米吟醸酒「花かんざし」
を飲む。甘口。小樽の拝田家からもらった私の一番大好きな
「鮭トバ」とフエ市長から貰ったするめを軽くあぶった醤油付けと
静岡の巣山先生から頂いた「ユタ州の岩塩」をおつまみに
ほんの少し飲む。
「道中でござる」の制作方針が変更になった。
今までのような東京北区十条の「篠原演芸場」（中学生の頃
よく行った）のような大衆演芸の雰囲気がなくなった。
何となく「芸術的」な加工がされ始めた。ディレクターの
嗜好か？。制作費をチョロまかすＮＨＫディレクターはいるが、
視聴者の本当の希望を受け止める能力のある
ディレクターがどれだけいるのか？・・・・・
上田早苗アナが和服で出て、お説教を始めるように
なってから「篠原演芸場」の雰囲気がなくなった。
上田アナのお説教を視聴者が聞きたいのではない。
たわいのない「大衆演劇」を見たいのだ。
「江戸でござる」からの熱心な視聴者である私からすると
上田アナさん、あなたは場違いです。退場してください。
大衆演芸に理屈はいらない。笑い、泣いて楽しめば
いいのです。あなたのピント外れの解説が全てを
台無しにしていることに気が付いていませんね。
悲しいことです。江戸の信条は「単純・シンプル」です。
あなたのごちゃごちゃ言うことの一言一言は
江戸でござる、道中でござるを腐食させています。
ＮＨＫスタジオパーク以来のフアンだったので、厳しい
注文となる。
