日本語教師原さんのご両親と懇親会
ＪＲ福知山線で起こった列車事故で亡くなった５４人の方々に
心より哀悼の意を表します。
（２００５年４月２５日 ベトナム時間 午後９時１０分時点）
ＪＲ西日本の第１回目の記者会見をテレビで見た。
記者会見をした幹部は、全く他人事のような会見だった。
最初に死者・負傷者への謝罪の一言があってしかるべきだ
った。謝罪は最後にもごもごと言っていた。
５０数名の死者を出した責任者としての自覚が全く感じられ
なかった。
ＪＲ西日本は、まだ列車の中に負傷者がいる段階で
事故があたかも「置石」によるものであるかのような
情報をながしている。また、記者会見では１３３キロ以上の
スピードがでないと脱線しないかのような発表も行っている。
一般的に列車が１３３キロ以上のスピードを出すのは
難しいようだ。
こうしてＪＲ西日本は、スピードの出しすぎ説を否定し、
置石の写真まで公表し、責任問題への布石を打っている。
公明党の北川国土交通大臣が、原因究明中なのに
こうした発表をしたＪＲ西日本に｢不快感」を表明したそうだが
当然の態度である。事故原因の究明は、犯人がするべきもの
ではない。事故調査委員会、国土交通省など第三者機関が
行うものである。ＪＰ西日本は先ずもって車内にいる被害者の
救出、入院治療中の被害者の救援に全力をあげるべきである。
異常な会社である。ＪＲ西日本は
社会的責任のある仕事をしているという自覚が役員に
欠けているように思われる。
偶然列車に乗り合わせただけで死亡するなど
信じることの出来ない家族が多いことと思う。
そうした被害者への「思いやりの気持ち」が
ＪＲ西日本の役員にはない。
早くも「責任逃れ」の画策をしているようでは情けない。
日本社会の「指導層」「管理層」の精神的荒廃を
象徴するような出来事だった。
こうしたニュースを何ら批判もせずに垂れ流している
ＮＨＫの無能ぶりも情けない。
昨日の衆議院福岡選挙区補選で山崎元自民党幹事長が
当選した。情けない。というのは福岡県民である。
政治を語る前に「性事」についてしっかりと弁明をしろと
なぜ問い詰めなかったのか？ この程度の選挙民にこの程度の
政治家ということなのか？ 小泉首相の盟友。
かたや｢変態」、かたや「変人」。変態と変人の政治が
いつまで続くのか？
昨日読んだ岩波ブックレットで三木睦子さんが語っていた
夫・三木武夫自民党総裁・首相は、はるかに人格と見識が
あったことが分かる。
午前８時、ベトナム事務所へ。打ち合わせ、必要な事務。
午後３時、研修生派遣会社へ。社長と懇談。
午後５時半、原さんとのご両親とレストランで懇親会。
