「子どもの家」創立１０周年東京集会
午後１時半から東京北区教育会館で行われた「子どもの家」１０周年東京集会には９０人の方々のご参集を頂き成功。

●東京集会実行委員一同
東京集会は大学生の石崎さん、原さんの司会で始まった。
①ソン君の挨拶（通訳 ホアン君）
②現地報告（小山）ビデオなどを使い、40分ほどの報告
③ソン君の報告（通訳 ホアン君） ソン君の「子どもの家」での生活などの報告
④ソン君の里親を１０年続けた岩淵房夫先生ご夫妻の挨拶とソン君からの花束贈呈
岩淵先生は私が小学校５年から中学３年まで通った近所の学習塾の先生であり、
私の高校の漢文の先生でもあった。父親が高２の時に急死し、翌年、弟が白血病で入院し、我が家の生活が成り立たなくなった時、身元保証人となってくれた岩淵先生は私の就職口である巣鴨駅前の中華料理店を探してくれた。その後、大学在学中は、先生の塾の教師として採用してくれ生活の面倒をみていただいた。私がベトナムへ行くと聞いてすぐに里親を引き受けて頂き、ソン君の里親を１０年間続けていただいた。私の最も尊敬する恩師である。
●１５分間の休憩。内田さん、柳沢さん、高橋さん、中村さんなど会を最初から支えてくれた皆さんのコーヒーや物品の販売などがあった。
⑤午後３時半からボランティア・「子どもの家」などを考える若者のパネルディスカッション
司会は今年の８月まで２年半日本語教師をしていた西山優子さん。パネラーは高校生の於曽能さん、渡辺君、工藤さん、大学生の古瀬さん、そしてベトナムからソン君。

⑦沖縄の知念良吉さんのライブ
知念さんは、「子どもの家」やフエの高校などでも沖縄の島歌などのライブを行っている。
午後５時過ぎ、東京集会は散会となった。
昨日まで左の頬の痛みと腫れを訴えていたソン君も「親知らず」の腫れと分かり、昨日歯科医師の手当て受け、今日は大分回復していた。
東京集会を成功させるために多くの皆さんの事前準備があった。改めて御礼と感謝を申し上げたい。
