ベトナム「友好勲章」授章決まる
午前中、受信メールへの返事、午前１１時、フォンザンホテル会長の招待で静岡市助役一行と「精進料理」をご馳走になる。今日は、「お釈迦様の誕生日」。ベトナムでは各家庭で精進料を食べる。

午後１時過ぎ、静岡市助役一行をフエ空港へ見送る。
５月２８日付けのベトナム政府決定書が今日ベトナム事務所に届く。「友好勲章」をもらうことになった。
ベトナムに進出している世界からのＮＧＯ３００の中から何人かの個人と団体が選ばれ「友好勲章」が授与される。５年から６年に１回授賞式を行う。
今回の「友好勲章」の受章は個人１１人、団体１１である。ベトナム政府主催の授賞式は６月４日午前９時半からハノイの「国際会議センター」で行われる。
明後日の授賞式の決定と案内が２日前の今日事務所に届くというのは、何とも言葉に出せない国ではある。勲章は勲章として頂くが、連絡が２日前で事足れり、とする官僚の態度は如何なものか？
国際交流とはおよそ縁遠い決定・招待の仕方である。
授章団体・個人は以下のようである。
●個人 アメリカ５人、仏１人、英２人、独１人、日本１人、その他１人。
●団体 米１、オランダ１、英４、独１、ベルギー１、スイス１、カナダ１、その他１
１１人の個人、１１団体、合計２２の中でアジアからは私一人である。あとは全て欧米系である。
明日からボランティア貯金の機関誌「ＷＩＴＨ ＹＯＵＲ ＬＯＶＥ」誌の取材団が４日間の日程で「子どもの家」へ来る。明日昼にフエ空港へ出迎えに行き、午後４時過ぎの飛行機でハノイへ。あすは忙しい１日となる。
