岩辺泰吏さん退職激励会へ。
午前中、野暮用で池袋へ。
午後、支援者と懇談。午後５時から葛飾区金町で「岩辺泰吏さんの退職を激励する会」参加。
岩辺泰吏さんは１９９４年のベトナムの「子どもの家」を支える会創立者で初代の代表。激励会には２５０人ほどの関係者が参加。

岩辺泰吏初代代表は２００４年３月３１日に教職を退職する。今日は、ＪＡＳＳ副代表だった大谷さん、笠井などが実行委員会を作り「退職激励会」を開催。
ＪＡＳＳからも含め多くの関係者が参加。ＪＡＳＳからも上田前代表、大西前事務局長、船崎前会計部長、西村さん、馬渕さん、高田さん、若林さんなど。
私はフエ市長より岩辺さんへの感謝状を手渡す。
岩辺さんを記念する石版を「子どもの家」に掲示した。その写真を拡大し手渡す。
会場で以前「子どもの家」を訪問した川田龍平さん、不登校の「居場所・フリースペース」運営の佐藤洋作さんと再会。中学1年生の時からＪＡＳＳ日本事務局の副事務局長をしていた金刺岳人も網走の大学3年生となり久しぶりの再会。
「退職激励会」は午後７時に終了。その後、関係者が岩辺さん行きつけの「蕎麦屋」に行き二次会。午後１１時過ぎまで。自宅着午前１２時半過ぎ。
