桂文治が死んだ・加藤道子が死んだ
桂文治が死んだ。１９６０年代、桂伸治としてテレビの「お笑いタッグマッチ」という番組に出ていた。春風亭柳昇が死に、今生きているのは、夢楽位か？
文治は落語芸術協会に所属していた。池袋演芸場は落語協会と交互出演をしていたのでよく聞いたものである。
私は文治の語り口調が大好きだった。下町の職人を彷彿させた。段々とこうした本当の噺家が消えていく。悲しい。後に残るのは、積み上げのない一過性「お笑い」芸人のみ。淋しい時代になってきた。
１０年前にベトナムへ渡った。日本からの連絡が一切ない中で、一人孤独の毎日を送っていた。とにかく日本語が聞きたかった。唯一つ日本語を聞く手段は、短波放送の「ラジオ日本」だけだった。ザーザーという超雑音の中で、毎週日曜日の夜「日曜名作座」を楽しみに聞いていた。森繁久弥と加藤道子の二人だけのラジオドラマ。
落ち着いた口調の二人の日本語を聞いて日本を懐かしんだものだった。
