江平慶司氏を語る②
「ベトナムの医師にお礼を言いたい」との気持ちでベトナムへ行かれてから８年。その後も江平さんは長い間「子どもの家」への支援を続けている。
旧サイゴンで生まれた内田征子さんは、その後、様々な苦労を重ねやっとご自分の生まれた旧サイゴン（現ホーチミン市）の邸宅を見つけられたのこと。お父さんは、現「コンチネンタルホテル」の１階を仕事場にしていたそうだ。

その後、内田さんは、８年間「子どもの家」の子どもたちをクリスマス会に招待してくれている。
６年ほど前からは、夏に「バーベキュー大会」も子どもたちにプレゼントしている。「子どもの家」の子どもたちは、夏の「ベーベキュー大会」、冬の「クリスマス会」を楽しみにしている。
こうして内田さんは「ニュースステーション」を見てベトナムガイドブックを買いに江平さんの本屋さんに行き、江平さんと内田さんの添乗員とベトナムツアーを案内した舟山さん。
舟山さんは太平観光からの派遣職員として「子どもの家」支援活動を４年間続けた。１９９９年には、数百年に一度という「フエ大洪水」に見舞われるなどフエ滞在中は異文化の中での生活に苦労していた。しかし、その苦労を乗り越え、フエの女性と巡り合い結婚。現在は可愛いお嬢さんの父親として、フエ美人奥さんと一緒に日本で生活している。
江平さんをクアンビン省のドンホイに２回案内したディーン・ラームさんは、「東京平和産業」という観光会社の社長でもある。

舟山さんはベトナム事務所員をしながら観光会社を立ち上げたディーン・ラームさんに太平観光の社員として、日本の観光業のサービスから企画立案、接客まで指導した。
ホアン君はそのディーン・ラームさんの弟。
現在、東京の「ブライセン」というコンピュータ会社の支援で「コンピュータ専門学校」へ通学中である。
こうして、小山→内田さん→江平ご夫妻→舟山さん→ホアン君と人間の縁は続いていく。
６０億人もいる人間の中で到底出会うことの出来ないはずのこの６人が、不思議な縁で今日、新宿に集い、江平ご夫妻から会席料理をご馳走になっているのである。
私たちの取り組みは小さなものではあるが、ベトナムの医師へのお礼を通して日本人の心を伝え、「子どもの家」支援の中で日越友好交流・平和な人間交流を行っている。
そして何よりも舟山さんの身体を張っての日越友好は特筆に価する。可愛い愛娘「連ちゃん」が日越友好のシンボルである。
私はベトナムに１０年半住んで「子どもの家」支援活動を行っている。支援をしているというのは、口幅ったいことである。実際には得るものの方が多い。何よりも素晴らしい人間に出会えるということである。日越の心ある素晴らしい人間。肩書きなど関係ない。本当に心のある人は、思想信条に関係なくいるものである。ベトナムでのストリートチルドレン支援活動は、そうした「心ある日越の人間」を私に紹介してくれた。子どもたちに感謝している。
（追記）「昨日まで杉花粉症発生」などと大騒ぎしたが、実は、風邪だった。風邪で鼻水がでたのが真相と判明。無実の罪を着せた「杉花粉症様」にお詫びしたい。犯人は風邪だった。今日は声ががらがら。
